Falling in love with a ring is easy. Guessing your size? That can feel a bit tricky. But don’t worry—finding your perfect fit is actually quite simple, and you can do it right from home.
Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring
The easiest way, if you already have a ring that fits the finger you want to wear your new piece on; this is the most accurate method.
- Select a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
- Measure the internal diameter. Take a ruler and measure straight across the inside of the ring from edge to edge.
- Note: Do not include the metal band itself in the measurement; measure only the space inside.
- Check the chart. Take your measurement in millimeters (mm) and find the corresponding size in the chart below.
Method 2: The Paper Strip Method
Don’t have a ring handy? No problem. You can measure your finger using a simple piece of paper or string.
- Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
- Wrap it around the base of your finger. It should fit explicitly how you want the ring to sit—snug but comfortable.
- Mark the spot where the paper or string overlaps.
- Measure the length. Lay the strip flat against a ruler and measure the distance to the mark in millimeters. This is your finger’s circumference.
- Find your match in the size chart below.

Pro Tips for the Perfect Fit
1. Mind the Temperature: Did you know your finger size changes throughout the day? Fingers tend to be smaller in the morning or when cold, and slightly swollen in the evening or when hot. For the best result, measure your finger at the end of the day when it is at its largest.
2. Don’t Forget the Knuckle: If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, you need to find a happy medium. Pick a size that feels snug at the base but can still slide over your knuckle with a little resistance.
3. Consider the Band Width: The style of the ring matters. A ring with a wide band (thicker than 4mm) will feel tighter than a delicate, thin band. If you are eyeing one of our statement-wide rings, we recommend going one size up for comfort.
